My Work

Strings Attached – Flair THE MAGAZINE

This photoshoot is rooted in the Red String Theory—the idea that fate stitches an invisible thread between two souls long before they ever meet. We’re turning that myth into something tangible and poetic, using the red string as a living symbol of connection, tension, desire, and the quiet gravity that pulls certain people together.

NOIR TEXTILES

Noir Textiles is a small, Raleigh-based brand specializing in vintage-inspired, repaired garments crafted entirely in-house. They focus on giving old pieces new life—blending restoration, hand-detailing, and timeless design.

Pedigree – Flair THE MAGAZINE

This shoot explores how human prejudices mirror those placed on animals, especially through dog ownership and conformation culture. By challenging the conservatism and elitism of traditional dog sports, we introduce a theme of Rebirth, symbolized by a white dog representing purity. The styling draws from the influential impact of Black fashion in the ’90s and early 2000s, using street-style evolution as a bold juxtaposition.

About Me

Hi, I’m Ethan (Also known as Woon) — a photographer who’s endlessly curious about human nature, color, and the little details in life. I’m based in Wilmington, NC.

I create fashion and editorial imagery with a mix of clean composition and a playful, sometimes spontaneous approach. A lot of my ideas land somewhere between reality and whatever my imagination decides to make of it. I love studio shoots, expressive portraits, and those behind-the-scenes moments where people drop their guard and you get something real.

I’ve worked with magazines, student creatives, and small independent brands, and no matter the project, I’m always chasing the same thing: images that feel honest. Emotional. Human. Whether I’m building a concept from scratch or just documenting a moment as it unfolds, my goal is simple — to make photos that actually make people feel something.

Photography Services Crafted for Every Story

Event Photography

My event photography focuses on candid moments—the laughs, the quiet exchanges, and the unplanned magic that happens when people forget about the camera. I love documenting real human connection and turning those fleeting moments into images that feel timeless.

Portrait Sessions

Portrait sessions crafted in studio or on-location, created to honor individuals, couples, and families with candid movement, natural energy, and a touch of artistic magic.
